seems to be, dentist knows best i suppose?
but i think it would be more comfortable to have braces on all the teeth, rather then just the BOTTOM….

this is something that is different for everyone. i had to have 2 years of braces on bottom teeth and 4 years on my top teeth. the dentist say my teeth are perfect now

That’s a good reason to go elsewhere.
ps: You should have a bar behind your top teeth so they don’t shift after the braces. Most will leave this there for years or even forever.

Yes and no… If you only have them on the bottom and you have allot of problems then your bite is going to change and not match up with the top. I think this is what he means.

Braces do more than just straighten your teeth they line up your jaw, like if you have an overbite, he may insist but i donut think it is really necessary. Good luck!

Why won’t he explain to you? I would want an answer as well! Unless he plans to have you in elastics or something where he would need braces on top as well. Or some kind of appliance.
Maybe ask a hygenist to explain if he won’t.
Good luck! I had braces for 5 years and still need jaw surgery that I’m not getting.
Oh, he may also just want to charge you
Its low but I’ve seen it before with doctors. Maybe get another opinion to be sure of the best and cheapest treatment.

Yes, do you really want to screw up your bite line and all that hard work and money done to the top, oh yah, get both, don’t ruin your bite, it hurts, you’ll have great teeth that won’t line up and will hurt really bad at night and when you eat, you can always get a second oppinion, there is nothing wrong with that. GL!!!
