i keep my teeth clean without using floss by throwing them in a cup with polident. i lost all my teeth due cavities and gum disease due to not flossing. guess you’ll just keep trying to floss or buy the waxed floss now.

Go to a large drugstore and look in the dental hygiene section. You will find many alternatives to conventional floss, included teflon coated tapes, tiny brushes, metal scrapers, wooden scrapers, etc.
I find Peelu brand toothpaste and gum helpful in keeping plaques under control, but these are no substitute for mechanically scraping away the plaques.

You need to try different brands of floss to find one that doesn’t get stuck between your teeth. Honestly, YOU MUST FLOSS or you’ll lose your teeth early in life. Flossing is the single most important thing you can do to prevent gum disease which is the leading cause of tooth loss and need for dentures. You’ll save yourself a fortune in future money by flossing. You’ll get to keep your teeth too!
Furthermore, by not flossing, you’re setting yourself up for an additional cost at a critical financial time in your life. If you have children, it’s likely they’ll need braces at the same time you’ll need to be paying for periodontal work for yourself. Flossing can help you avoid having to pay an orthodontist and a periodontist all in the same few years. Because most people end up needing dental work that results from not flossing when they’re in the 40s or 50s.
Just to give you an idea of the costs involved in having both children and parents needing orthodontists and periodontists at the same time, here are some numbers:
Braces $3,500 to $5,000 (orthodontist)
ONE (1) tooth implant $1,000 to $2,000 (periodontist)
Then there’s deep root cleaning, surgery and all sorts of painful expensive stuff when you end up at the periodontist because of not flossing while younger.

Dont forget to change your toothbrush every three months. WaterPik is a different method to flossing that doesnt require actual floss and is just as effective if not more.

you need to floss their is nothing else that can get as much bacteria out of the spaces then flossing. you should try crest glide floss, it is in a silver case and i also have tight contacts in between my teeth and this is wonderful,it makes other floss look like fishing wire, but you need to floss or else you will get gigivitis and possibly periodontal disease in the long run, just experiment with different floss brands and types.. also get floss that is waxed, unwaxed floss sticks and tears more. good luck

At the risk of sounding like a broken record you have to floss everyday. Yes brushing cleans the teeth, but what about in between where your toothbrush can’t reach? Floss is the answer. If floss is getting stuck, try waxed floss or GLIDE it is smoother and does not get stuck as easy. Also the person that mentioned apples is right on, but leave the skin on. The skin is tough and acts as a sort of dental floss getting in between the teeth in some places. If you are not flossing then you are running a great risk of getting decay or bone loss that comes with periodontal disease.
