About a week or so. It feels really iratating or wierd when you first have them; trust. but after a couple of days to a week you wont notice them anymore. use a softer toothbrush to help and a sesitive toothpaste.

Ha! The tricky thing about your braces is that it seems as soon as they stop aching, you are going in for an adjustment. Okay, it’s not that bad, but you will probably feel the pain for about a week. I suggest Tylenol. You will go through this everytime you go in for an adjustment.

I’ve had mine for 7 months now, and i really HATED them at first. But after about 2 weeks it was totaly fine! I don’t even notice them half the time now. It was sore to brush for about the first week, but after that its cool=) If you can’t brush it properly just yet just do the best you can, and use an alchohol free mouthwash, thats what i did. Good Luck!=)
